Review: Raymond Weil – Maestro Frank Sinatra Limited Edition

From sponsoring the Brit Awards to making limited edition timepieces for Gibson, Raymond Weil’s love for music-inspired collaborations is clear to see.

Here, it pays tribute to one of the greatest crooners of all time, Frank Sinatra, to mark the 100th anniversary of his birthday. Like Sinatra, the watch’s design is smooth and seductive, distinguished by a classic 39.5mm round case that harks back to a time when men’s watches were not laded with excessive girth to express machismo. As a nod to Sinatra’s nickname, ‘Old Blue Eyes’, the hands and indexes are laced a bright azure. Limited to 1,212 pieces to reference Sinatra’s birthday, 12 December.
