Get started now with Sotheby’s ‘The Rolex Daytona Capsule Collection’.

The most desirable Rolex sports collection is up for grabs now at Sotheby’s ‘The Rolex Daytona Capsule Collection’, an online auction held in conjunction with Bob’s Watches.

There will be 13 lots of Rolex Daytonas, which boast some awesome gems. They include the Ref. 6265 (below), the ‘Big Red’ Daytona prized for its unusual wide placement of the word ‘Daytona’ in red above the hour register.

As well as the Ref. 6263, the last of Rolex’s Daytonas fitted with a handwound Valjoux movement.

The biggest highlight, however, has to be the Ref. 4500, a vintage steel and yellow gold chronograph from 1937 that predates the Daytona collection.
