Review: Jaquet Droz – Lady 8 Flower

The Lady 8 Flower sprinkles a little magic dust on the winsome Lady 8 collection, distinguished by its figure of ‘8’ case.

Where previously models featured a pearl or globular precious stone at the top of the case, this version flaunts an automaton. Activate a pusher and see the miniature sculpted lotus flower bud slowly open up, as if in an accelerated bloom, revealing a solitaire within. The rest of the watch is just as captivating, as the brand demonstrates its decorative prowess with a sculpted and enamelled gold butterfly motif against a guilloche dial with diamond-set case.
