Review: Harry Winston – Hypnotic Star Automatic

We imagine that the folks at Harry Winston didn’t labour over the christening of this timepiece.

The Hypnotic Star Automatic is exactly as the name suggests, a mesmerising and dazzling gem of a watch that draws you from the get-go. The dial is festooned with baguette-cut diamonds that get smaller towards the center of the dial, using the invisible setting technique to ensure the white gold backdrop is entirely unseen. Complemented by artfully placed spinels to create a star pattern, the overall effect is utterly spellbinding, inviting one to draw her gaze into the heart of the dial.
