CROWN and Franck Muller’s Evening Of Whiskey And Watch Appreciation

As a staunch proponent of watch appreciation, this magazine desires to not just tell timepiece lovers about the best brands in the business, but do so with fun and finesse.

4 December 2014, Franck Muller ION boutique

CROWN teamed up with legendary Swiss independent watch brand Franck Muller and Auchentoshen, a top-drawer lowland whisky label known for its triple distillation process, to host 30 of our readers at Franck Muller’s ION boutique.

Guests were most intrigued but the Crazy Hours, an iconic Franck Muller complication with a dial that shows jumbled hour numerals, and a hand snaps to the correct time in a seemingly haphazard manner. Meantime, an endless supply of Auchentoshen single malt whisky kept conversations flowing, as guests also learnt about tasting notes of the different casks that were served, including the 12-year and ‘Three Wood’ label.
