Review: Chopard – Mille Miglia GTS Automatic

Sometimes, even with testosterone-charged creations, less is truly more.

Inspired by the look of classic cars from the 1940s and ‘50s, the new collection rocks with retro chic, comprising chronograph, power reserve and automatic models. For something that expresses the collection’s automobile-inspired spirit without the clunky-ness of a chronograph, opt for the most basic of the lot. This model ticks off the essentials: tyre-style rubber strap, substantial size and design references of the Mille Miglia legacy on the dial. For added pull, look under the hood, where you will find an in-house movement conceived by Chopard’s Fleurier Ebauches factory.

Price: S$7,750 (incld GST)
