Review: Bremont – Jaguar MKI

A quintessentially British brand, Bremont seeks out collaborations with likeminded marques bearing the same lineage.
Here, it teams up with famed automobile company Jaguar, and gets off the starting blocks with two watches inspired by the iconic E-Type. We are sold by the automatic model (the other’s a chronograph), which distills the ride’s dashboard aesthetics on the dial in a quirky, vintage-y way that doesn’t feel forced or overwrought. Of special interest is the stainless steel case, constructed with Bremont’s proprietary ‘Trip-Trick’ technology that ensures up to seven times hardiness compared to a standard steel case.
