Review: Audemars Piguet – Royal Oak Extra Thin The Hour Glass

Written by

How special is this boutique edition? For Royal Oak fans, snaring this is akin to owning a piece of the collection’s storied history, as it is the only ‘Jumbo’ model to be encased in yellow gold.

For the uninitiated, ‘Jumbo’ is the nickname given to the game-changing model that debuted in 1972. Limited to 50 pieces, this version boasts the same specifications as the regular production Royal Oak Extra-Thin, such as a slim 39mm case and automatic Calibre 2121, which was previously available only in steel or rose gold.

Price: S$79,600 (incld GST)
