Of course, the winners of our inaugural Instagram contest will tell you that receiving the prizes that was the best part of the #CrownMoment Instagram contest. But if you asked us, it was so much more – the creative wrist shots that brought respite to challenging days at the office, as well as the kindred spirits that we met as a result.
Two Bremont watches were up for grabs – the Supermarine S500 dive watch that is water-resistant to 500m, and the BC-F1, a fuss-free model with dial design inspired by vintage aircraft fuel gauges. The Supermarine S500 was won by Ronald Chew @horologym, a personal trainer, while the BC-F1 Frank Desvignes @frankdesvignes, chief of digital at AXA. Additionally, CROWN gave away 10 Boxy watch winders sponsored by Forte luxury, to winners in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

The #CrownMoment contest began as an exercise to reach out to our readers on social media, but perhaps we did better – we managed to connect with you. Meantime, you can follow us on Instagram @crownwatchblog and subscribe our newsletter here for contest notifications.

Alvin promises not to be a douche when talking about watches. He may have scoured the Basel and Geneva watch fairs for the past 15 years, and played an instrumental role to the growth of Singapore's pioneering horological and men's lifestyle publications, but the intrepid scribe seeks to learn something new with each story he writes.
